The Senior Analyst, Demand Planning, is responsible for maintaining the 18-month rolling forecast by SKU for the assigned Sales Channel and owning the demand plan. S/he will act as planning partner to the Sales Team. The role reports to the Director, Demand Planning.
Partner with Sales Channel to understand product demands (promotions, marketing events, historical sales, door changes, etc.).
Provide trends, forecast misses and other intelligence to help inform Sales Channel during Monthly Demand Review.
Support Supply Planning and Distribution with forecasts to drive production, distribution requirements and capacity analysis.
Essential Job Functions:
Own the demand plan for the assigned Sales Channel.
Conduct Monthly Demand Review with assigned Sales Channel, gaining a deep and thorough understanding of new product launches, discontinuations, door openings/expansions/closures and other leading indicators in preparing the forecast.
Maintain SKU, product and category performance metrics, identifying and applying trend impact to the Sales Channel/Account forecast. Identify lagging indicators, exception items, and track assumptions underlying forecast to deliver a Demand Planning forward forecast recommendation for Monthly Business Review with assigned Sales Channel.
Maintain SKU, product and category performance metrics, identifying and applying trend impact to the forecast.
Prepare data as required within monthly S&OP cycle.
Maintain forecast accuracy metrics to drive continuous improvement.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree
3+ years Demand Planning in high SKU CPG environment. Cosmetic industry helpful.
2+ years participating in S&OP activities.
Advanced Excel required.
ERP experience required. Familiarity with advanced planning platform helpful (APO, Blue Ridge, Demand Caster, Logility, etc.).
Supply chain acumen with understanding of drivers that impact demand/supply (MOQs, lead time, logistics).
Understanding of inventory principles (safety/cycle stock, retail replenishment, inventory turns, weeks of coverage etc.).
Strong communication skills to influence collaboratively across functions.
International/ECommerce demand planning experience a plus.
Excellent analytical, presentation and writing skills

The starting base salary range for this position in the selected city is $90,000.00 - $95,000.00 yearly. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and geographical location. Base pay is one part of the total compensation package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work. This role is bonus eligible.
