Account Manager, International Sales (APAC)

Singapore - Full Time

Work under the direction of the Senior Director, International Sales & Marketing (APAC) to develop, plan and execute the sales strategy for APAC markets. Drive retail promotional programs, analyze sales and business data, and meet profitability goals while striving to optimize efficiencies and capture additional sales opportunities. Anticipate and analyze retail sales trends to implement strategic action plans in favor of the business. Build and maintain strong relationships with both external partners and internal cross-functional teams to ensure success and accomplishment of target goals.

Essential Job Functions

Sales Planning & Inventory Management

  • Work closely with brand and retailer buying and planning teams to plan and forecast new launch / promotion inventory needs and sell-through timing, basic replenishment levels, and stock level management.
  • Communicate all new launch dates, pricing, allocations, OOS statuses to retailers.
  • Help manage and update buy sheet to collect new launch forecasts for each retailer.
  • Track newness orders to ensure accurate forecast quantities are placed by retailers.
  • Help resolve stock concerns and requests from field team as appropriate.
  • Partner with Senior Director, International Sales & Marketing (APAC) to build retailer promotion strategy and complete markdown forms as needed.   

Account Management

  • Partner with Sales Coordinator to ensure SKUs setup forms, comps, and assets are delivered by retailers’ due date
  • Partner with internal Marketing team to build market week presentation and send updated versions regularly to retailers.
  • Continuously improve processes and ways of operating to drive productivity and effectiveness of APAC Business.

Marketing & Merchandising

  • Stay current on seasonal fixture update plans as carried out by Merchandising Department, helping to build assortment templates per retailers.
  • Communicate gondola update dates, assortment files and planograms to retailers.
  • Work closely with internal Marketing team to build retailer calendars, and partner with Director to strategically schedule promotional activity to drive YOY growth, especially at times with high LY liabilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Business Administration, Sales, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a corporate Account Management position in the Beauty or Consumer Products Industry.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, detail-oriented individual.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • Must have strong analytical skills with ability to think and perform creatively.
  • Proven ability to follow up and meet deadlines.
  • Flexible and adaptive attitude to changing business needs and a fast-paced work environment.
